Cyberlocker Oron settles trial and hands over infringers' personal data
Oron, a cyberlocker currently faced with a claim of 34.8 million U.S. dollars for alleged copyright infringement, has today settled with the plaintiff, a U.S. adult studios. In return Oron has agreed to the studio's significant demands.
It appears Oron has agreed to hand over IP addresses, bank details and e-mail adresses of alleged infringers on the copyrighted 'works' of the studio. Moreover, Oron has apparently agreed to provide the owner of the adult studio, Liberty Media, assistance in the civil proceedings against its clients.
