BlackBerry music service launched in the Netherlands
Blackberry maker RIM launched the music service BBM Music in the Netherlands. BBM stands for BlackBerry Messenger and can be found in the "BlackBerry App World".In order to launch the music service, RIM made licensing agreements with Universal, Sony, Warner and EMI.
With BBM Music, BlackBerry users can listen to music online and offline and share the music with (BlackBerry) friends. Users can choose from a collection of 50 songs from millions of songs available. Each month, the user can keep its profile selection fresh by swapping up to 25 numbers per month. The service was already available in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. Now, music fans can also enjoy listing to music through BBM Music for 4,99 euros per month in the Netherlands. The first thirty days the service is available for free.
