Dutch video rental chain Ster starts gaming-on-demand service

Video rental chain Ster wishes to offer a gaming-on-demand service. The chain has recently launched their new online store Stergamestore.nl, but is already planning to expand the site with a gaming-on-demand service.

Together with the Rotterdam e-commerce company Nextic, Ster will offer the service through their new online store. Their goal is to also offer all forms of entertainment on-demand, including games, declared Christiaan Hoekstra, marketing manager of Ster.

Furthermore, Hoekstra can not say when the first on-demand game will be offered, as Ster is still discussing details with Nextic. Nevertheless, the first game rights are acquired.
