The new book written by John Green, author of popular children’s books, has already appeared on the bestseller list of Amazon and Barnes & Noble. Strangely enough the book is not yet finished or published.

How can it then already be a bestseller? Green cleverly used social media and online video content. Last Tuesday, he announced the title of his new book on Twitter and Tumbir. Furthermore he announced he would personally sign all of the already ordered books. To give the future readers a preview, he read a part of the book through an online video. That same day, before 21.00 PM, the book was already on the bestseller list.

The book will be published next spring.
