After Facebook announced to launch something great, various media now think that this might be the collaboration with Skype. This was further encouraged due to the fact that the press received invitations for a meeting, showing an instant icon with the silhouette of a person.

This means that in addition to sharing photos, links and messages users can also video chat with each other. The media expects that the number of users will expand even further if users actually are able to video chat. There are also some other rumors circulating, including the launch of Facebook app for the iPad.

Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook's founder and only 27 years old, again appears to launch an innovative concept, to earn even more money with his very successful business model. We will have to wait and see whether the video chat will indeed be able to expand the number of users and thus get even more revenue. Moreover, Google recently announced the launch of Google+ as an alternative to Facebook, where users can also make use of video chat.
