Simfy launches music player on Facebook

Simfy, the German competitor of Spotify, cleverly responds to the social network hype. Facebook users can use Simpfy to listen to music on Facebook and share songs with friends. All this is done through an interactive music player with a database of over 8 million songs (!) offered by Simfy on Facebook.

Simfy is popular, as can proven by the statistics. After about one year Simfy now has more than 1 million registered users in the three countries where it is available (Germany, Austria and Switzerland).

Gerrit Schumann of Simfy, already is enthusiastic: “We’re delighted to be one of the first international interactive music players on Facebook, making it just really easy for users to experience and discover music together with their friends.”
