YouTube Copyright School
"If we can’t make it easier, make it more fun", was the thought that probably popped up in YouTube’s Copyright Policy team whilst contemplating the best way to better explain users what they can and can not do in relation to copyrighted works and copyright law.
The result? As part of the new "YouTube Copyright Education Policy", infringing YouTube users are now required to first take a look at the very funny yet educational Happy Tree Friends quick course into copyright law. After that, they have to pass a Copyright Quiz (only a few chances!) before being allowed to upload new videos again.
