Games producer BioWare has invented a creative way to promote their new game Dragon Age II. On February 22, BioWare will launch a demonstration version of their newest game Dragon Age II.  They ‘call to arms’ all fans and invite them to download the demo for free. If more than a million users download the demo, BioWare will release bonus items for the game, that will give players a head start in the full version of the game.

“We are actively recruiting an army of Champions, and if we get over 1 million demo downloads and logins on the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 combined before March 1st, we will unlock two in-game items for the entire community to use in Dragon Age II. Demo download progress will be tracked on this page, so check back often!” said BioWare on their website.

The features that will be released are ‘The Far Cliffs of Kirkwall’ and ‘Lothering’s Lament’. These two items give inside information on the game and, according to BioWare, gamers will benefit from going through these features while playing the full length game. Among other things, players can collect extra money and experience points for Dragon Age II, which will be available in March.
