China blocks access to Wikileaks
China blocked access to whistleblower site Wikileaks yesterday. The spokesman of the Chinese Minister of Foreign Affairs Hong Lei yesterday said that the blockade is focussed on protecting the Chinese relations with the United States. Lei declined to comment on the contents of individual documents. Perhaps not coincidentally Wikileaks also includes a document linking the Chinese government to the hacking of Google's computer systems.
