Pink Floyd wants their entire CD’s online, no separate tracks

All Pink Floyd albums - except for the first "Dark Side Of The Moon" - were taken offline. This is due to the expiration of Pink Floyd's licensing agreement with EMI on June 30 and the bands having trouble finding a new licensing deal that meet their stringent requirements.

Reportedly, Pink Floyd has already been looking for a new record company for over one and a half years. One of the requirements is that  tehe band's music should only be offered online as full CD's, and no longer as individual tracks. Pink Floyd already started a lawsuit against EMI on this particular issue before their licensing deal ended.

It is expected that Pink Floyd will be on the lookout for a long time. To counter illegal file-sharing now almost all music distribution companies have decided to divide all CDs and offer them online as separate tracks.
