YouTube is owned by Google, that paid 1,65 billion dollar for it in 2006. The search-engine giant has struggled ever since to recoup this investment. Meanwhile,

YouTube is offering more and more professional content. Google recently sealed a deal with Time Warner. Since then, some TV series as well as parts of the CNN programming can be viewed on YouTube.
