Dutch Ministry of Education to stimulate teacher generated content

The Dutch Ministry of Culture and Education will invest in digital methods that aid teachers in creating and sharing their own study materials. Through a Wiki-like environment teachers will be able to share their materials with other teachers. The goal is to enable teachers to create their own studybooks. Within two years time teachers should be able to create and distribute their own studybooks. The Dutch Education Council advised the government in September of this year to come up with more copyright-free study material.
